I Forgot about you!

Hey! Grettings from the mitten state. I forgot I had a blogspot, i'm going to start writing stories, and leaving pictures of doodles. The above picture is my first ever attempt at making a screen printed show poster, it was from a local halloween show held last year, I printed up about 45 of them at my old job, where I screen printed band t-shirts, and I loved it, and still love screen printing. I'm going to have to start making my friends come and read this. Goooodnight.

Getting signed

Hey! Hello, greetings!
Whenever I think of a blog I just think of the episode of the office where Creed talks about how he blogged the "beach incident" at creedspot, which was really just a word document opened by Ryan with a URL link. I'm not sure if the internet needs protecting from the thoughts of my mind, maybe I do, but i'm sure you're safe you crazy internet you. I wonder if porn was ever envisioned by the creators of the interweb...most likely.
Anyways my name is John and i'm from Michigan, I go to college at a local University and i'm the drummer in a band that just got signed. That is the first time I have ever typed that out.
Its weird, i've wanted to be in a band as soon as I learned what it was, not to be a cool kid or have people around the world know my name, i've just wanted to be in a situation where it was my job to bash and bang on things with other people who love making their own individual noise just as much as I do. I'm 20 and have been playing on pots and pans and anything hollow really for the past 17 years I would have to guess. Being in a band is weird, friendships get so strong on such a strange level when you are in a band together. I'll explain and try to be more clear next time, but until then i'm off to bed.
